The November issue of Rogue Cinema has been posted!

Hey folks, :)

Well, we had another delay getting the new issue posted this month. I was having illness issues on Monday, and then today we had not one but TWO network outages. (Thanks Qwest!) :P

Anyway, here’s what we have for you this month…

Articles:

Can you believe it’s been 50 years since Psycho first hit the screens? Well, neither can Cary Conley, so this month he’s done us up a phenomenal article all about this most famous and revered of classics.

Pinky violence. What’s that you may ask? Well, basically it’s a genre of Asian film in which hot young girls commit acts of unbelievablely gruesome violence against pretty much anyone they feel like. Naturally our own Josh Samford has become rather fascinated with this particular genre, so he’s written up a really nice pinky violence beginner’s guide to help you all learn a little something about it.

Ah the old classic “lost world” films. We’ve all seen them, and we’ve all loved them, and this month, Philip Smolen is giving us a run down of five of the most notable films of the genre.

This Month Independent Filmmaker Jason S. Lockard brings us a film that took millions to make! It took Two Years to Produce! It’s Frank Capra’s “Greatest Production”, Lost Horizon!

David Stephenson returns with a new series in which he searches for the greatest westerns of all time. This is a genre we haven’t covered much here on Rogue Cinema, so it’s great that he’s taken it on and has presented it in a way that only David can.

Nic Brown was back at this year’s B-Movie Celebration in Franklin, Indiana, and this month he brings us a recap of his experiences at this really awesome event!

You think you have what it takes to be a sword and sandal hero? Well now you can find out. This month, Danny Runion lists out the top ten requirements you’ll need to meet at least some of in order to be worthy to don the loin cloth, wrist guards and those cheap old sandals that seem to magnetically suck the rocks in under your feet.
